Trimley Station

Introduction
Project Trimley Station was the upgrade of lighting to the station platform, car park, and pedestrian footbridge. We (Coljoint) worked closely with our client, the KN Group to upgrade the lighting system throughout these areas by installing SWA Cables in buried cable ducting within the car park and station platform. We installed a 50x50mm Galvanised trunking across the pedestrian footbridge to allow us to get the cables to each light. This was powder coated green to blend in with the bridge. We then fitted the anti-vandal light fittings to the underneath of this trunking. Anti tamper fixings were installed to the trunking lid & footbridge lighting to protect from vandalization & theft. A new DNO cabinet & a new supply cabinet were installed which were designed and fitted out by Coljoint.
Client Brief
The KN Group instructed Coljoint to complete the installation of a new DNO cabinet situated in the newly upgraded car park, which then feeds a new supply cabinet which houses a new distribution board & lighting control system. The distribution board was to then feed the outgoing lighting circuits installed to the station platform, car park & pedestrian footbridge.
